Museum Passes. The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries sponsor museum pass memberships for:

They are offered to all SAILS library patrons with no advance reservations – excepting that you may take a coupon pass for a future date in advance. Other libraries in the SAILS network may permit you to borrow their passes – List of SAILS Library Network-wide Museum Passes (pdf).
The Buttonwood Park Zoo pass has one pass for each day of the week and each pass is valid only on that day. The pass admits 4 persons free and the loan period for the pass is five days. Passes must be returned to the Southworth Library
The New Bedford Art Museum pass allows free admission to the holder of the pass and half price to all others with the holder of the pass. The pass checks out for 5 days only and must be returned to Southworth Library.
The Museum is open Wed – Sunday, noon to 5 pm. AHA! Nights, second Thursdays, free from 5 to 9 pm. Closed on all major holidays. Youth and children 17 years and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.
The Pawsox (Pawtucket Red Sox) library pass provides admission for up to 6 people for a flat rate of 18.00 for the group. Each coupon corresponds to a particular day and does not need to be returned after use. Blackout dates for use of the coupon are May 30, June 18, July 1 thru 3, July 22, July 31 and Sept. 5.
New Bedford Seaport Ocean Explorium. The library pass provides free admission for up to eight people. The pass can be borrowed from Southworth Library with a SAILS library card and must be returned to Southworth Library after use.
Roger William Park Zoo passes are now available. One pass corresponds with each day of the week. The pass entitles the bearer to a $3.00 discount for up to 4 people. The pass also offers a 10% discount on zoo gift shop items.
The New England Aquarium uses coupons that are valid for the day dated on the coupon. Each coupon admits up to four people for the reduced rate of $8 per person. Regular admission costs 19.95 for adults and 11.95 for children. During July and August, coupons are not available.
The Museum of Science uses coupons that are valid for the day dated on the coupon. The coupon allows up to four people into the exhibit halls for a $5.00 per person admission fee. This coupon does not include discounts on tickets for the Omni Theater, Planetarium, or Laser Show, and cannot be used to purchase combination tickets.
The New Bedford Whaling Museum uses a pass which you can borrow the day before you use it and return by the day after you use it. One pass admits two persons free. Four passes are available and all of them may be borrowed at the same time. Passes must be returned to Southworth Library but can be returned through the bookdrops.
The Museum of Fine Arts uses coupons that are valid for the day dated on the coupon. With this MFA museum coupon, two persons receive $5.00 general admission. (special exhibits not included).
The Providence Children’s Museum uses dated coupons that allow 4 people a discounted admission of $2.00. Regular admission costs 7.95.
You may now borrow a Massachusetts ParksPasses from us at no cost! This pass provides visitors unlimited day-use parking access to state park facilities within the DCR that charge a parking fee, with the exception of Nahant and Nantasket Beaches.
Battleship Cove library membership cards offer 3.00 off the general admission for 2 adults and 2 children. Regular Admission: Adults $15, Seniors $13, Children aged 6-12 $9, Children under 6 FREE
